Abstract:

Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to determine the strategy, economic and legal framework in the formation of the land market. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study is based on the definition of the main aspects of state management of the land market in the leading countries of the world, as well as on the main legal documents that are governing the formation and effective functioning of the land market. Findings: The results of the study show that agricultural land is a valuable resource not only in EU member states, but also in Ukraine. In the leading countries of the world public authorities have the opportunity to regulate the maximum amount of available agricultural ownership per family with the help of the created appropriate mechanism. In addition, the main advantages are described. These advantages can be achieved with the introduction and effective functioning of the land market. Practical Implications: The study helps to raise awareness in the field of land relations, particularly during the introduction and effective functioning of the land market. Originality/Value: The study emphasizes that the importance of strategy development and compliance with economic and legal principles in the formation of the land market will create benefits for the country's economy.
